As the co-founder and managing partner of Genesis Business Humanity and Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation, I am deeply impassioned to share our latest initiative: the establishment of Genesis Friends for Life Israel. In the face of ongoing turmoil in Israel, this endeavor represents a beacon of hope and resilience amidst adversity.
Genesis Business Humanity and its subsidiary, Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation, have long been committed to fostering compassion and support for those in need. Our journey has been defined by unwavering dedication to humanitarian causes, and the creation of Genesis Friends for Life Israel marks another pivotal moment in our mission to make a tangible difference in the lives of others.
In collaboration with our esteemed partners and allies, Genesis Friends for Life Israel aims to provide targeted assistance to Israeli orphans, widows, children, and families profoundly impacted by the ongoing conflict. Our mission is rooted in the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive, irrespective of their challenges.
Operating with our global foundation, Genesis Friends for Life Israel, enables us to leverage our resources and expertise to deliver comprehensive relief services and care to those most in need. We are committed to addressing immediate needs and empowering individuals to build brighter futures for themselves and their communities through initiatives such as the Genesis Family of Orphans program and the Doron Grant for Life program.
The stark reality of the situation cannot be ignored. The relentless attacks on Israel have exacted a heavy toll, particularly on its most vulnerable citizens—the children. Before the conflict, there were already thousands of Israeli orphans, and tragically, this number has only continued to rise. Genesis Friends for Life Israel is dedicated to providing these children and families with the support they need to heal, grow, and thrive in the face of adversity.
Our efforts would not be possible without the dedication and collaboration of our board members, partners, and supporters. We are united in our commitment to alleviating the suffering of those affected by conflict and ensuring that they have access to the resources and support they need to rebuild their lives.
The launch of Genesis Friends for Life Israel is an initiative and a testament to the power of compassion, unity, and collective action. It is an opportunity for individuals and organizations worldwide to stand in solidarity with the people of Israel and support those who need it most.
Together, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of orphaned children and families, providing them with the hope, healing, and opportunity they deserve. With your support, Genesis Friends for Life Israel will continue to be a source of hope and healing for those in need.
Author, Activist and Genesis BH Club Member Jeff Meshel on Tracking Antisemitic Threats in the US
The number of threats centered on antisemitism and shared on social media have grown 20 times since the terrorist attacks in Israel on October 7, 2023, according to information shared by The Clarion Project, a non-profit that scours social media for threats.
Jeff Meshel, a Member of Genesis Business Humanity Club, sits on the Board of this very effective organization which works with the FBI and other law enforcement agencies to identify impending dangers and share the data they collect using a platform developed and continually evolved by their tech team, which came from the National Security Administration (NSA).
Jeff Meshel, Author, Speaker, Investor, and Board Member, The Clarion Project
“Given the clear and present danger of continued hate speech and violence against Jews in the US and around the world, the work of The Clarion Project is more critical than ever,” Meshel said. The head of their tech team was credited with destroying the al-Qaeda media machine and driving the pursuit of Osama Bin Laden, enabling the US military to take out one of the world’s most notorious and dangerous terrorists.
Via the Clarion Intelligence Network (CIN), the primary mission center of Clarion Project, focuses on US-based violent extremists that present a danger to the public regardless of their ideological affiliation and the targets of their violence.
CIN utilizes state-of-the-art Open-source intelligence (OSINT) technology to rapidly identify threats; individuals that show the capability and intent to harm others.
CIN creates OSINT evidence packages that document these threats in detail and then provides these packages to law enforcement agencies through their standard tip intake process. Federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies simultaneously receive packages from CIN when the location of the threat is known.
“There are dangerous groups coalescing and the threats are very real, domestically exasperated by our porous borders,” Meshel explained. “The Clarion Project is aligned with the FBI and when there is impending danger they are notified. In fact, over the last two years The Clarion Project discovered 169 threats for school shootings, most recently preventing what could have been a deadly attack in Texas. They are now sensing dramatically growing antisemitic activities and continuing to enhance the efforts of the FBI and local authorities through real time intelligence that could have prevented attacks on synagogues over the last few years, for example.”
Pro-Palestinian protests at UC Berkley
According to recent posts, in March, UC Berkeley launched a hate crime investigation after a protest against an Israeli speaker, with two Jewish students facing antisemitism and physical battery. A criminal suspect was identified for trespassing, alongside a separate discrimination investigation by the university’s Office for the Prevention of Harassment and Discrimination. The protest, involving around 200 demonstrators, led to the event’s cancellation after unauthorized entry, prioritizing speaker, and audience safety.
“With protests on major campuses continuing to grow out of control,” Meshel said, “and with evidence that outside agitators are taking advantage of the war in Gaza and disinformation about the dynamics in Palestine, they are driving dangerous activities to grab the attention of the media. Not only must we protect our Jewish communities, but we must also protect all Americans by standing up for our very principles, with a clear distinction between hate speech and free speech.”
Richard Green, CEO of The Clarion Project
Richard Green, CEO of The Clarion Project, was interviewed on The Parsha Podcast, has devoted his life to Jewish Community outreach, and combines that with his passion for protecting people’s lives.
Another prominent non-profit, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), wrote in their 2023 Annual Report that anti-Semitic incidents had been increasing before the war erupted in October, and that the conflict had fueled “a fire that was already out of control.”
Jointly written with Tel Aviv University, the report said anti-Semitic incidents in 2023 were far above 2022 figures in most countries with large Jewish minorities, including the United States, France, Britain, Australia, Italy, Brazil and Mexico.
The publication of the report coincides with Holocaust Remembrance Day in Israel.
Jonathan Greenblatt, Director, Anti-Defamantion League
“The aftermath of Hamas’s horrific attack on Israel on October 7th was followed by a tsunami of hate against Jewish communities worldwide,” Jonathan Greenblatt, head of the New York-based ADL, said.
“This year’s report is incredibly alarming, with documented unprecedented levels of anti-Semitism, including in the US, where 2023 saw the highest number of anti-Semitic incidents in the US ever recorded by ADL.”
The ADL’s data recorded 7,523 incidents of anti-Semitism in the United States in 2023 compared with 3,697 incidents in 2022.
These acts included harassment, vandalism, and assault, targeting Jewish-owned businesses, Jewish institutions and organizations and Jewish students.
Under a broader methodology that includes anti-Zionist rhetoric, activism and calls for “resistance,” the ADL found a total of 8,873 incidents in the United States in 2023 — 5,204 between just October 7 and the end of the year.
Professor Uriya Shavit of Tel Aviv University
Professor Uriya Shavit of Tel Aviv University wrote in the report that “if current trends continue, the curtain will descend on the ability to lead Jewish lives in the West — to wear a Star of David, attend synagogues and community centers, send kids to Jewish schools, frequent a Jewish club on campus, or speak Hebrew.”
“Organizations like The Clarion Project and ADL and others deserve the full support of all people who care about religious and other freedoms,” Meshel said.
“We must be vigilant and active, and with their extraordinary intelligence – their software platform – their experienced and committed team, under David Green’s leadership, The Clarion Project will continue to make a meaningful difference.”
Among the variety of innovative technologies that have risen in both use and popularity amidst digital transformation, few have had a larger impact on the world than cloud computing. With the capability to provide both individuals and organizations the ability to access computing resources (i.e. software, hardware, and platforms, as services remotely through the Internet), it’s no shocker that cloud computing technology is flourishing in numerous industries and growing rapidly as a whole.
The cloud computing’s global market value came in at USD 569.31 in 2022 and is expected to reach USD 677.95 by the end of 2023, with experts predicting a CAGR of 20%, bringing the estimated market value to USD 2,432.87 billion by 2030. The swift and tremendous growth can be attributed to the sheer flexibility of cloud computing, offering advantages to practically all sectors and verticals.
However, while the cloud may seem like the perfect piece of technology, it certainly has its drawbacks; the inefficient allocation of resources and spending overall are amongst the most common cloud problems. According to some estimates, the typical company wastes as much as 35% of its cloud budget, which would put USD 126.77 billion of worldwide cloud expenditures under the category of inefficient spending.
This has kickstarted a trend among enterprises to prioritize the optimization of their cloud computing, which, for many organizations, comes in the form of a managed service provider (MSP). While the MSP industry has boomed amidst the beginning of the digital age, they have once again hit a crossroads during the rise of the cloud, as the continuous rise of consumer demands, as well as increased pressure from competition, is forcing MSPs to enhance their cloud management.
“The most notable way MSPs have begun to bolster the cloud efficiency portfolios is through the use of cloud optimization platforms,” said Ben McGahon, founder and CEO of Kalibr8. “These are suites of software tools that MSPs are more commonly leveraging to manage and optimize their cloud resources, providing users with tools that allow them to exercise administrative control. In our case, our platform enables optimization across the largest public clouds.”
These platforms offer MSPs a host of benefits when it comes to improving a client’s cloud efficiency, such as artificial intelligence AI-enabled automated capabilities that can deliver up to 65% in monthly cloud savings. On top of this, cloud optimization platforms can also provide advantages in relation to cybersecurity and real-time monitoring, both of which are significantly emphasized by the modern-day enterprise.
“An often-under-recognized benefit that cloud optimization platforms can provide is regarding the environment and overall sustainability,” McGahon said. “More and more, MSPs and their customers are becoming mindful of carbon reduction advantages due to the fact the other benefits contribute more directly to the bottom line, which is usually the most important facet to any business. The nice thing about managing cloud consumption is that one automatically is also reducing the related carbon emissions and use of energy, water, cooling, and so forth.”
McGahon added that the environmental benefits of cloud optimization platforms are quickly becoming a pivotal piece of the cloud efficiency puzzle, given how socially conscious investors and stakeholders, including employees, board members, customers, regulators, suppliers, and distributors, have become. “They want to know a company’s stance on socioeconomic factors and its sustainability efforts before either investing in a company, working for them, or even buying their products,” McGahon explained.
With sustainability now on the minds of consumers and businesses alike, MSPs would be wise to advertise the environmental benefits of cloud optimization using cloud management platforms.
For example, cloud optimization can help reduce energy use, which is essential given the increased demands for energy due in part to the explosion of data. The International Energy Agency revealed that global data center energy consumption increased by 45% over the past three years, reaching 264 terawatt-hours per year. Thankfully, through cloud optimization, an enterprise can reduce energy consumption by over 30%, which, when compounded with the total amount of businesses nowadays, can make a drastic impact.
Furthermore, cloud optimization can play an essential role in enterprises reducing their carbon emissions and overall carbon footprint. Transitioning to cloud computing can already help a company reduce its carbon emissions by up to 30% for large companies and up to a staggering 90% for small and medium businesses (SMBs). Yet, once again, in relation to data, cloud optimization can amp these numbers up, with a total of 1.6 billion metric tons of GHG emissions possibly being saved in 2024 if cloud data centers are optimized.
Finally, by optimizing virtualization through cloud computing, enterprises can once again reduce energy use and carbon emissions.
“Virtualization allows the organization to create several virtual machines (VMs) and run multiple applications on the same physical server via a hypervisor as one example,” McGahon said.” Organizations can then use a single VM rather than a resource-heavy physical server, which uses less power and has a lower impact on the environment. There are many ways to save money that directly benefit the planet.”
For MSPs, cloud optimization platforms can not only offer an array of benefits for their own organization but can also enhance their clientele enterprises in a myriad of ways, with the environmental advantages being the most recent to come to light.
While it was once solely for monetary reasons, enterprises that optimize their cloud computing can play a positive part in undoing the damage already done to our planet and creating a better future for generations ahead.
“MSPs must ensure they’re not only communicating but advocating for cloud optimization in the name of the environment, as the sustainability movement continues to swiftly grow among their business customers,” McGahon concluded. “It makes all the sense in the world.”
Dear Senator John Fetterman, Congressman Ritchie Torres, Mr. Douglas Murray & Mr. Bill Maher,
I hope this letter finds you well. With only three days left until Passover, the foundational holiday on which the Jewish nation was born at the exodus from Egypt, I am writing to you to voice my sincere, heartfelt, gratitude.
I was raised in a Jewish, Hasidic, home in Brooklyn, New York, where my parents, my schoolteachers, my community, my mentor The Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Schneerson, of blessed memory, instilled in me the invaluable trait of being grateful to those who are good to you and to the world at large. From the street cop to the school principal, the taxi driver to the nurse at the doctor’s office, the subway conductor to the garbage collector, expressing gratitude is embedded in our Jewish DNA and is a basic tenet of our Torah.
Over the past six months, since the horrific day of October 7th, I’ve watched in dread as segments of our society, even in civilized countries such as the USA, Canada, France, England, and Australia, have chosen to side with Nazi-like terrorists who butchered, raped, beheaded, tortured, burned alive my fellow Jews in the name of Islam. It’s unfathomable and I refuse to sugarcoat it. Too many imams in mosques from Manchester to Toulouse, Chechnya to Toronto, Beverly Hills to Dearborn, are spewing pure, unadulterated, Jew hatred. They are condoning the massacre of Jews, they are condoning the April 14th Iran missile attack on Israel, they are condoning the captivity of over one hundred remaining hostages in Gaza, including babies. They aren’t hiding; they are telling us straight up that Jews aren’t their cup of tea and that they want us all dead.
They scream words like “Apartheid”, “Genocide”, “Occupation”, “Ethnic cleansing” and other lies, when in truth, Israel is a country that is home to its indigenous Jewish population but also to millions of Muslims, Christians, Baha’is, Bedouins, Druze, and many other minorities. Due to our infinite kindness, not seen anywhere else in the middle east, Arab men and women have equal rights under Israel’s law and can rise to the highest seats of power, politically, judicially, militarily, and economically. There is no genocide in Gaza, there is no apartheid in Israel, you can’t occupy your own land, and there is no ethnicity being cleansed.
It’s a lie.
As Winston Churchill said, “a lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on”. Isaiah, the incredible Jewish prophet, said “Woe to those who say of the evil that it is good and of the good that it is evil, who present darkness as light and light as darkness, who present bitter as sweet and sweet as bitter.”.
Nothing new is under the sun!
We have people dressed in Kaifiya’s and masks, roaming the streets of America chanting things like “death to America”, “down with America”, “genocide Joe”, they are burning American flags, intruding rudely, and at times violently, at college campuses, local eateries, and now even at people’s homes. They attack police, get in the face of our elected officials with foul language, and spew vitriol on social media. Some of the same people who were rightfully upset when Americans marched in Charlottesville screaming “Jews will not replace us”, are now at the forefront of those seeking to replace the Jews. Without any basic feelings of humanity, they block access to airports, march by hospitals while screaming nastiness at cancer patients, and interrupt events to which they were not invited. They side with Hamas, Hezbollah, and Ayatollah Khamenei; essentially tearing at the fabric of our civil society.
Yet, amid the chaos, amid the pandering media, there are voices such as yours that are clear, unequivocal, moral, and true. While the Sunny Hostin’s, Tucker Carlson’s, Cenk Uygur’s, Candace Owens’s, and Mehdi Hasan’s are out there vilifying the Jews and making Jew hatred acceptable in America, you are out there speaking truth, sharing facts, debating the issues, debunking the lies, and are standing with the Jewish people in their toughest time since the holocaust. Despite the onslaught of abuse that you’ve endured, you haven’t surrendered to the mob and you’re choosing light over darkness. In a world of immorality and distortion of history, you recognize evil, hypocrisy, antisemitism, and acts of cruelty for what they are, and refrain from blurring the fine lines between self-defense and aggressive warmongering. Standing with the Jews isn’t hip or woke, it’s not “good for business” if all you seek in life is “likes” and “reshares”, but boy is it refreshing, and so encouraging, to know that you’re out there.
This Monday evening, April 22, we will usher in Passover. We will sit around our Seder tables and recount the history of our slavery to The Pharaoh, an Egyptian antisemitic tyrant, and celebrate G-d’s miracle of our redemption. Jews never forget our history, the good, the bad and even the ugly, all of our past comes together to make us who we are and guides us into the future. We remember those who hurt us, who betrayed us, and we always remember and celebrate those who could’ve ignored our plight but chose to stand with us in our time of need. Jews in America appreciate the gift that is the United States. We appreciate its freedom, we love our flag, and we are grateful for what it has given our community, namely the opportunity to worship freely without government interference or persecution. We don’t spit in the well that has quenched our thirst, and we don’t take our liberty for granted.
Mamre stood with Abraham in Canaan, Batya stood with Moses in Egypt, Hiram of Tyre stood with King Solomon, Charvona stood with Mordechai and Esther during the story of Purim, Cyrus of Persia stood with Ezra in his quest to return to Israel, Antoninus of Rome stood with his friend Rabbi Judah the Prince, the Grand Duke of Frankfurt was kind to the Jews of Germany, King Christian X of Denmark, Oskar Schindler, Chiune Sugihara, and Chrysostomos of Zakynthos, along with many other gentiles, stood with the Jews during the holocaust. Each of them, like you, saw evil and said, “not in our town”, “not under our watch”.
Each of you will be remembered for defending the Jews, G-d’s chosen people, during this time and not cowering when humanity needed clarity. Senator, your unwavering support for Israel is awe-inspiring. Congressman, even in the lion’s den you stand on principal like Daniel. Douglas, while the anti-Jewish media tries to play gotcha and invents facts, you are the beacon of light and sanity in the United Kingdom and beyond. Bill, though your jokes about religion isn’t my genre, your lucidity and humor on the situation in Israel is admirable and appreciated. You, along with people like Dr. Phil, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Megyn Kelly, Bono, Meghan McCain, and Chris Rock will be remembered for your unwavering support of the Jewish people and our homeland. I know that the pressure is hard to withstand, but you guys are strong and must remain strong.
We don’t want a temporary ceasefire for the terrorists to rearm and murder more Jews, we want a lasting peace, which will only happen when our hostages come home and when schoolchildren in Gaza are taught to love the “other” and not to commit Jihad for a trip to “heaven”. It will happen when our media stops propping up and giving a platform to those who hate, and would murder, every Jew, Christian, homosexual, “infidel”, and American citizen, if they had their way.
Like you, I don’t agree with every decision of the Israeli government. I also don’t agree with every decision of our government, the French government, the Italian government, or the Madagascar government. You don’t have to agree with a government to defend its people from annihilation. First, they said “we are not against Jews, just against Zionists in Israel”. Then they said, “We are not against Jews, just against all Zionists”. Then they said, “We are not against Jews, just against any Jew who doesn’t condemn the Zionists”. Then they said, “We just hate all Jews, because they are a cancer on our society and have too much power” and we will disturb their Sabbath services, their kids’ schools, and we will use megaphones to interrupt any Jewish event on college campuses.
The Jews will be ok. We always survive and we will survive this time too. It will be tough, but we shall overcome. Yet, it’s the non-Jews who should worry, because while they always start with the Jews, they never stop with us. Hate is hate is hate, and if you don’t stand up to it when it’s the Jews who are attacked, don’t expect it to go away. You don’t have to be Zionist to stand with Israel, just like you don’t need to be African to stand with the people of Sudan, you don’t need to be Haitian to stand with the people of Haiti, you don’t need to be Alawite to stand with the people of Syria, and you don’t have to be a Native American to stand with the Crow.
To stand with Israel requires you to be a healthy human being, with a stable mind, a heart for goodness and a soul that seeks to better our fractured world.
As we drink our four cups of wine, eat Matzah and Maror (bitter herb) and recline in royalty celebrating our freedom, I will toast a L’Chaim to the four of you who have utilized your platforms to fight for the Jews and who will be spoken about for millennia in recognition of your historic role during a challenging era.
Don’t change your mind, don’t cower, don’t back down. You have G-d (sorry, Bill), light, and morality on your side and the Jewish people will never forget.
Hope you’ll come to visit us in Bozeman soon!
Have a blessed summer and continued success,
Rabbi Chaim Bruk
P.S. Bill, I was just reading about your mother who was Jewish (which means that you are Jewish), but that you didn’t know that until you were in your teens. It doesn’t take away one iota from your objective support of the Jews.
The new organization will work together with the Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation to provide support and relief to Israeli orphans who lost parents on October 7
April 18th, 2024; Miami; TelAviv: The Genesis Friends for Life Foundation, a 501c3 introduced in 2023 in the U.S., and part of the Genesis Business Humanity family of companies today announced the launch of Genesis Friends for Life Israel, a non-governmental organization (NGO) focused on aiding and supporting orphans, widows, children, and families most affected by the October 7th, and the ongoing war.
Genesis Friends for Life Israel will be providing relief services and care to children and families affected by the current conflict through numerous projects that seek to boost their immediate well-being, and continuously support them through adulthood. The Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation will be working in conjunction as both organizations seek to assist orphans, and swiftly begin to ramp up current programs on the ground.
“Our hearts go out to those who have lost loved ones and who are suffering, as we are guided by our faith, unity, and humanity to alleviate suffering and provide immediate resources through this crisis through the establishment of the Genesis Friends for Life Israel Foundation,” said Dr. Lior Aviman, co-founder and CEO. “With this foundation, we have the chance to raise awareness around how the war has impacted orphaned children and families in Israel, and to ensure they have access to resources delivered by caring volunteers on the ground, so they can set out on a path for a successful life of joy and promise.”
Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation’s mission is to identify, serve, follow, and continuously support the Genesis family of orphans into their adulthood; this is an innovation that will make a tremendous difference in every orphan’s life, including finding career opportunities in the Israeli tech sector – from internships to high-paying jobs.
The Doron Grant for Life provides orphans with a path where orphanhood does not constitute an obstacle in any way, to the realization of their full personal, educational, and occupational potential.
“Our belief includes, first and foremost, assistance to the weak, whether it be financial, emotional and academic support, and assistance for every child who needs it,” said Liron Herskovitz, founder and CEO of Republic Consulting, a top firm in Israel which has conducted a comprehensive study of the status of orphans following the attacks, and a contributor to the development of the platform. “With this program, we seek to allow these children social leadership and an exit from the circles of difficulty and distress, while imparting an education with a clear occupational horizon, a connection to the world of employment through an extensive social network and connections and key people to whom we are connected through friendship or work within Genesis.”
The initial and ongoing attacks upon Israel have greatly affected all its citizens and families, but children who now have no one to turn to are being impacted the most. Prior to the conflict, there were already 10,000 Israeli orphans, with an average of 120 adoptions a year. However, since the war has started, there are approximately 700 new Israeli orphans, with over 1,400 people in total have been killed during the massacre, and close to another 9,000 being seriously injured in some form, leading to a substantial increase that has overwhelmed the Israeli Ministry of Welfare.
The new Genesis Friends for Life Israel includes an expansive list of distinguished board members who are determined to alleviate the toll combat has taken on Israeli children. This includes Ranny Yarom, the co-founder and CEO of Genesis Business Humanity based in Israel who sports over 20 years of IDFA experience, Amiel Aviman, co-Founder and Managing Partner at Genesis Business Humanity with over 30 years entrepreneurial experience, and Eli Dalfin, the COO of Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation.
“We must always stand up for Israel,” said Ranny Yarom, who is also co-founder and Managing Director of Genesis Group, and the leader of all activities on the business and humanitarian fronts in Israel. “As a father, I feel deeply honored to be able to be able to organize and army of highly respected business visionaries, government leaders, academics, and volunteers with boots on the ground here. Each of these orphan’s lives is precious and their potential unlimited when they have our support. They will be the future changemakers in Israel and globally, and from their trauma will come greatness and grace.”
“We must do all we can to support these young lives, and to become their families for life,” said Amiel Aviman, co-founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Genesis Group, and Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation. “With the support of the Members of the Genesis Business Humanity Club, and with others who have joined us in building Friends for Life in the U.S. and Israel, we are able to make a lasting difference as we are committing in full force to ensuring these orphans have all they need to live safe, happy, and productive lives.”
“For nearly twenty years, our group of friends and network of business colleagues have been supporting orphans in Israel through Simcha Connection, ensuring those young people have access to education, religious education, bar mitzvahs and bat mitzvahs and more,” said Eli Dalfin, who also founded the partner organization in Miami and has grown it for two decades. “The horrific terrorism that occurred on October 7th sends a strong signal to the world that Israel and Israeli’s are living with an existential threat, and that we all must do what we can to ensure the children and families impacted by violence have what the need to heal and move forward in love and strength. We invite all of those who share our compassion and passion for this mission to donate so we can fulfill on our promise as Friends for Life to ensure good lives for every orphan we embrace.”
“Together, with the support of our friends in America and around the world, the Genesis Friends for Life Israel team, will make a significant, sustainable, and powerful difference in the lives of orphans,” said Arie Munk of Bayit Cham, another NGO in Israel which is partnering with Friends for Life. “Bayit Cham is honored to work with Friends for Life to provide the best mental health support. In Israel and throughout the world, many go through difficult periods in their lives or various experiences that lead to mental health issues. The battle that is hard to cope with as it is becomes impossible when the person is struggling on his or her own. As pioneers in the field of mental health rehabilitation in Israel, we operate an especially broad array of services that includes therapeutic and rehabilitation services, guidance and support, vocational training, and employment for those struggling with mental health challenges and for their families, including the Israeli Orphans who will now have access to The Doron Grant for Life program and more. It is an honor to be part of this major initiative.”
ABOUT GENESIS FRIENDS FOR LIFE GLOBAL FOUNDATION

February 28, 2023; Miami Beach, Florida; Tel Aviv Israel – Genesis Friends for Life Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit registered in the U.S. and part of the Genesis Business Humanity family of companies, today announced two major Israeli television and film actors are the first celebrities to join its new Global Ambassador Program.
Yaakov Zada-Daniel, from the hit, show Fauda, himself an orphan who has established an orphanage in Israel, earlier this year attended an event in Miami produced by the Foundation to raise funds for immediate support of orphans, widows, children, and families most affected by the October 7 terrorist attacks.
Yaakov, who was orphaned at the age of three, grew up in the desert village of Neradim, a children’s-home and kibbutz for vulnerable kids from across Israel. He spent 15 years living with his new brothers and sisters. Today, he continues to support an orphanage, which was recently granted $10,000 by the Foundation, and has been named the first celebrity Ambassador and the face and voice of “Friends for Life.”
“It is an honor to represent Genesis Friends for Life Foundation and a privilege to have been one of their first grant recipients,” Zada-Daniel said. “Their vision is enhanced with innovation, using technologies the Genesis Business Humanity Club is expert in and has invested in, to identify orphans whose lives were nearly destroyed on October 7, and then engage with those orphans, the remaining members of their families if any, and ensure these orphans receive care and compassionate support. This includes providing mental health professionals, overall healthcare, education, safe and comfortable places to live, and mentorship as each orphan selected for the program is cared for through their late teens, including getting into the best universities in Israel. This is an extraordinary strategy, and one being implemented by experienced leaders with integrity, heart, and a love for Israel and Israel’s children and families.”
Additionally, Omer Hazan, known for his acting roles in Al Techaki, The Engineer, and Asfur, who attended the event on October 25th in Miami and is also on the Foundation’s Board of Advisors, is helping raise awareness and promote the Foundation’s mission.
“I was invited to attend one of the most moving events I’ve ever been part of on October 26 in Miami,” Hazan said, “and will never forget meeting so many friends of Israel who were so deeply committed to immediately helping those orphans, widows, children, and families near the Gaza Strip who were murdered and traumatized by Hamas terrorists. The Genesis family is truly that – a family that brings together extremely successful entrepreneurs to support the tech industry in combination with a non-profit foundation raising funds for programs that will make such a positive, long-term difference in so many orphans’ lives. Children are the future of Israel, and this includes those children who lost parents and other family members on October 7 and in the resulting war over the last few months. What distinguishes Genesis Friends for Life Foundation is their solid strategic approach, their commitment to “for life,” and their presence in both the U.S. and Israel where partnerships have already formed and support is flowing.”
“We are honored and grateful for the continuing and intense support Yaakov and Omer bring to our Advisory Board as special members, and look forward to attracting additional celebrities to this important mission, supporting orphans, widows, children, and families in Israel in the wake of the horrific massacre,” said Amiel Aviman, Co-founder and Managing Partner of Genesis Business Humanity and Co-founder and Co-Chair of Genesis Friends for Life Foundation based in Miami.
“We are bringing immediate and ongoing resources to orphans, widows, children, families, and small communities in Israel during and following the war, and the support of Yaakov and Omer is priceless as we continue to raise money and implement projects in Israel in real-time,” said Ranny Yarom, Co-founder and Managing Partner of Genesis Business Humanity and Co-founder and Co-Chair of Genesis Friends for Life Foundation based in Miami.
Yarom is leading all projects on the ground in Israel, working with community leaders and the IDF (as a retired Colonel and entrepreneur), and ensuring resources go directly to those most affected by the brutality and destruction near the Gaza border.
ABOUT GENESIS FRIENDS FOR LIFE GLOBAL FOUNDATION

Working with our Genesis Business Humanity Board of Directors and Membership and with long-standing philanthropic partners, we are focused on supporting orphans, widows, children, and families to rebuild homes and communities following this horrific attack.
