The Genesis Friends for Life Foundation announced today that their first Celebrity Ambassadors, Yaakov-Zada Daniel, star of the hit Netflix series Fauda and other movie and television shows, and Omer Hazan, Israeli-American actor, known for his performances in The Engineer, Al Techaki Li, and Asfur, will be headlining the October 7 Memorial Gala in Miami next month.
This year, they are joined by the newest Friends for Life Celebrity Ambassador and Israeli Pop Star Ben El, who is donating a live performance of his greatest hits on November 21, at The Temple House in Miami Beach, where hundreds of supporters of the Foundation will gather.
Yaakov Zada-Daniel, from the hit show Fauda, himself an orphan who has established an orphanage in Israel, earlier this year attended an event in Miami produced by the Foundation to raise funds for immediate support of orphans, widows, children, and families most affected by the October 7 terrorist attacks.
Yaakov, who was orphaned at the age of three, grew up in the desert village of Neradim, a children’s-home and kibbutz for vulnerable kids from across Israel. He spent 15 years living with his new brothers and sisters. Today, he continues to support an orphanage, which the Foundation recently granted $10,000. He was named the first celebrity Ambassador and the face and voice of “Friends for Life” in 2023, shortly after the October 7 massacre.

“It is an honor to represent Genesis Friends for Life Foundation and a privilege to have been one of their first grant recipients,” Zada-Daniel said. “Their vision is enhanced with innovation, using technologies the Genesis Business Humanity Club is expert in and has invested in, to identify orphans whose lives were nearly destroyed on October 7, and then engage with those orphans, the remaining members of their families if any, and ensure these orphans receive care and compassionate support. This includes providing mental health professionals, overall healthcare, education, safe and comfortable places to live, and mentorship as each orphan selected for the program is cared for through their late teens, including getting into the best universities in Israel. This is an extraordinary strategy, and one being implemented by experienced leaders with integrity, heart, and a love for Israel and Israel’s children and families.”
Additionally, Omer Hazan, known for his acting roles in Al Techaki, The Engineer, and Asfur, who attended the event on October 25 in Miami and is also on the Foundation’s Board of Advisors, is helping raise awareness and promote the Foundation’s mission.

“I was invited to attend one of the most moving events I’ve ever been part of on October 26 in Miami,” Hazan said, “and will never forget meeting so many friends of Israel who were so deeply committed to immediately helping those orphans, widows, children, and families near the Gaza Strip who were murdered and traumatized by Hamas terrorists. Children are the future of Israel, and this includes those children who lost their parents and other family members on October 7 and in the resulting war over the last few months. What distinguishes Genesis Friends for Life Foundation is their solid strategic approach, their commitment to for life, and their presence in both the U.S. and Israel where partnerships have already formed, and support is flowing.”
The organization announced Ben El’s support earlier this month. He is well known as one-half of the highly successful duo Static and has earned acclaim for his extensive solo material. His performance promises to be an unforgettable highlight of the evening, representing Friends for Life and raising support for orphans and widows impacted by the horrific attacks on October 7 with the same passion that has made him a beloved figure in the music industry.
Amiel David Aviman, co-founder and Managing Partner, Genesis Business Humanity Group and Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation
“We are incredibly honored to welcome Ben El to our Friends for Life Advisory Board and are deeply grateful for his generosity as he invites his millions of followers and fans to learn more about and support our mission,” said Amiel David Aviman, Co-founder Managing Partner, and Chairman of the Board of Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation, which is headquartered in Miami.
Together with the Foundation’s first two celebrity ambassadors, Yaakov-Zada Daniel (award-winning star of the Netflix hit Fauda) and Omer Hazan (known for Al Techaki, The Engineer, Asfur, and other film and television roles), Ben El will be a lend his heart and voice to the cause, including sharing stories of the orphans and widows whose lives are being transformed through the kindness of sponsors, donors and other supporters.
“When I was approached by Amiel and learned about the incredible work the team in Israel is doing on the ground and learned about the first few families who are benefitting, I immediately agreed to contribute what I can,” Ben El said. “I am humbly honored to join the Friends for Life team and look forward to performing on The Temple House stage as part of the Memorial and Gala this November.”
This second Annual Memorial and Gala is dedicated to honoring and uplifting the lives forever changed by the devastating Hamas terrorist attacks. On that tragic day, as the nation observed the sacred holiday of Shmini Atzeret, Hamas terrorists launched a violent, bloody attack on Israel from Gaza, firing thousands of rockets, breaching the country’s borders, and killing and wounding over 1,000 innocent people.
Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation’s mission is to identify, serve, follow, and continuously support the Genesis family of orphans into their adulthood; this is an innovation that will make a tremendous difference in every orphan’s life, including finding career opportunities in the Israeli tech sector – from internships to high-paying jobs.
“We are honored and grateful for the continuing and intense support Yaakov and Omer bring to our Advisory Board as special members, and we look forward to attracting additional celebrities to this important mission, supporting orphans, widows, children, and families in Israel in the wake of the horrific massacre,” said Amiel Aviman, Co-founder and Managing Partner of Genesis Business Humanity and Co-founder and Co-Chair of Genesis Friends for Life Foundation based in Miami.
“We are bringing immediate and ongoing resources to orphans, widows, children, families, and small communities in Israel during and following the war, and the support of Yaakov and Omer is priceless as we continue to raise money and implement projects in Israel in real-time,” said Ranny Yarom, Co-founder and Managing Partner of Genesis Business Humanity and Co-founder and Co-Chair of Genesis Friends for Life Foundation based in Miami.
Yarom is leading all projects on the ground in Israel, working with community leaders and the IDF (as a retired Colonel and entrepreneur), and ensuring resources go directly to those most affected by the brutality and destruction near the Gaza border.
The city of Sderot has always stood as a symbol of perseverance. However, for the Megera family, it became the center of unimaginable loss on October 7, 2023, when Hamas terrorists launched an attack that would change their lives forever. Avi Megera (z”l), a beloved father of four and a devoted husband was taken from his family that day, but his legacy of love, dedication, and resilience continues to shine through the darkness.
On that fateful morning, Avi was doing something he loved—riding his motorcycle with a group of friends. For Avi, these moments were a release, a time to embrace the freedom of the open road and connect with a passion that balanced his busy life. But as they rode out of Sderot, a group of terrorists ambushed them. Avi and several other bikers were shot in cold blood; their lives were cut short as violence spread through the streets of the city.
Avi, 48, left behind a family that adored him. His wife, Michal, and their four children—Shaked, Ilai, Shalev, and Ori—now face the difficult task of rebuilding their lives without the man who was the pillar of their home.
“Avi was more than a father; he was our best friend,” said Shaked, Avi’s eldest son and a combat soldier in the Golani Brigade. “He was always there for us, no matter what, and he taught us to always put family first.”
The trauma of the attack has compounded the pain of losing Avi, but the Megera family is determined to honor his memory by staying strong and supporting one another. As Michal, the heart of the family, navigates the grief and the sudden role of single parenthood, her resilience is both a tribute to her husband’s enduring spirit and a source of strength for her children.
“We feel his presence every day,” Michal shared. “I see him in Shaked’s smile, in Ilai’s curiosity, and in the way Ori and Shalev care for each other. He is always with us.”
The Megera family’s story has touched many, and support for them has grown as the community rallies to help them through this tragic time. Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation has been at the forefront of these efforts, offering emotional, academic, and financial assistance to ensure that Michal and her children have the necessary resources to rebuild their lives. Shaked, who hopes to pursue a career in architecture, has been granted support to further his education, while his brother Ilai, a bright and ambitious student, is receiving academic tutoring to help him pursue his passion for computer science.
In November, Michal and her children will travel to Miami as part of the Friends for Life Ambassadors Trip, a program designed to provide healing and growth opportunities for families like theirs. During their visit, Michal will share her story with a broader audience, offering a powerful reminder of the resilience of the human spirit and the importance of supporting those affected by the events of October 7.
Genesis Friends for Life is committed to ensuring that the Megera family and others receive the long-term support they need. “We are not only honoring Avi’s memory,” said Dr. Lior Aviman, CEO of Genesis Friends for Life Israel NGO, “but we are also standing with his family to ensure that their future is bright. Avi’s legacy lives on in his children, and we will do everything we can to help them succeed.”
The journey ahead for the Megera family is long, but they are not walking it alone. Avi’s love and dedication to his family remain a guiding light, and the outpouring of support from their community and Genesis Friends for Life is helping to pave the way for a brighter tomorrow.
As we reflect on the profound loss endured by the Megera family and others impacted by the violence of October 7, we are reminded of the resilience and strength that emerges in the face of tragedy. Genesis Friends for Life is working tirelessly to provide orphans and widows with the emotional and practical support they need to heal, grow, and thrive.
In Avi Megera’s memory, we honor not just the man he was but the future he envisioned for his family. Together, we stand with Michal, Shaked, Ilai, Shalev, and Ori, ensuring their journey is one of healing and hope.
To support the Megera family and other families affected by the events of October 7, you can sponsor and purchase tickets for the upcoming Genesis Friends for Life event, “Love Always Wins,” by visiting this website.
September 6, 2024 – Miami, Florida; Tel Aviv, Israel – The Genesis Business Humanity Club, in collaboration with the Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation, is proud to announce its one-year memorial of the horrific massacre on October 7, 2023 with a memorial gala which will take place on November 21, 2024 in Miami. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the orphans and widows impacted by the terrorist attacks on Israel by Hamas.
The Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation is dedicated to identifying, serving, and continuously supporting the Genesis family of orphans as they navigate through trauma and tragedy, supporting them and their mothers as they grow into adulthood.
This year’s event will highlight the impact of The Doron Grant for Life program, named for Doron Aviman, which represents a precise and comprehensive approach to supporting orphans that offers them more than just short-term relief. Going beyond traditional care, the objective of this platform is to provide comprehensive educational and emotional support, as well as career opportunities, particularly in the Israeli tech sector.
The Doron Grant for Life is a groundbreaking program that seeks to turn the tragedy of loss into a beacon of hope. The program’s core mission is to provide every participating orphan with training, long-term academic and technological support, and the development of self-leadership and community leadership skills. The goal is to ensure that these orphans can achieve financial independence and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
Key objectives of the Doron Grant for Life program include:
Providing continuous financial support throughout the educational journey, from elementary school to university.
Offering mental and emotional support to strengthen resilience and self-confidence.
Ensuring that 100% of participating orphans achieve high academic standards, including matriculation certificates and bachelor’s degrees.
Facilitating the integration of orphans into professions that secure their financial independence.
“The brutality and shock of what happened last October is still very present, and we have rallied to bring comfort, resources, and long-term support to children orphaned and families whose lives have been shattered,” said Dr. Lior Aviman, CEO of Genesis Friends for Life Israel. “Our mission, especially through the Doron Grant for Life program, is to ensure that these children do not remain victims but become leaders and contributors to society. We are committed to turning darkness into light, sadness into joy, and despair into hope.”
“We must do all we can to support these orphans and widows, and to become their families for life,” said Amiel Aviman, co-founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Genesis Group, and Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation. “With the support of the Members of the Genesis Business Humanity Club, and with others who have joined us in building Friends for Life in the U.S. and Israel, we are able to make a lasting difference as we are committing in full force to supporting the families hit the hardest by the terrible violence on October 7, 2023.”
“We are organizing an army of highly respected business visionaries, government leaders, academics, and volunteers with boots on the ground in Israel,” said Ranny Yarom, who is also co-founder and Managing Director of Genesis Group, and the leader of all activities on the business and humanitarian fronts in Israel. “Each of these orphan’s lives is precious and their potential unlimited when they have our support. They will be the future changemakers in Israel and globally, and from their trauma will come greatness and grace.”
“For nearly twenty years, our group of friends and network of business colleagues have been supporting orphans in Israel through Simcha Connection, ensuring those young people have access to education, religious education, bar mitzvahs and bat mitzvahs and more,” said Eli Dalfin, Chief Operating Officer of the Foundation, who also founded the partner organization in Miami and has grown it for two decades. “The horrific terrorism that occurred on October 7th sends a strong signal to the world that Israel and Israeli’s are living with an existential threat, and that we all must do what we can to ensure the children and families impacted by violence have what the need to heal and move forward.”
The event promises to be a powerful gathering of supporters, partners, and community leaders dedicated to making a tangible difference in the lives of these children. Funds raised will directly support the implementation of the Doron Grant for Life program, ensuring that each orphan receives the comprehensive support they need to thrive.
More information will be shared, including the naming of the Host Committee, and attendance of orphans and widows at the Miami event.

Dr. Nissim Levy’s impressive journey began in Haifa, Israel, where he completed his high school education at Hugim High School. He pursued higher education in chemistry at the Hebrew University and earned his doctorate from the Technion Institute of Technology.
His academic path led him to a postdoctorate in organic chemistry at the University of Kansas, which prepared him for a senior research position at NASA’s SETI Institute in San Francisco.
Transitioning from academia to the business world, Dr. Levy worked as a commodity trader in the chemical division of Clal Industries. Eventually, he moved to London and engaged in various business interests, including chemical trading, petroleum products, and real estate. His entrepreneurial spirit and strategic vision have been crucial in his diverse business endeavors.
Dr. Levy’s philanthropic activities are as significant as his professional achievements. He and his wife, Rina, have been long-time supporters of numerous charitable causes in Israel. One notable initiative is the Nissim and Rina Levy Periphery Scholarship Fund at Tel Aviv University, which provides scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This fund aims to bridge educational gaps and foster social mobility by supporting talented students from Israel’s geographic and economic periphery (Tel Aviv University) (The Jerusalem Post).
Dr. Levy has also been a generous supporter of Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer and Yad Layeled, a boarding school and community center for disadvantaged children. His commitment to education and social welfare extends to his involvement with Hillel, a nonprofit organization that supports former Haredim transitioning into secular society (The Jerusalem Post).
Six years ago, Dr. Levy became president of Special Olympics Israel, a global organization founded by the Kennedy Shriver family that supports children and adults with intellectual disabilities; its goals include increased participation, youth empowerment, inclusive health and wellness, community engagement, and leadership development. With a dedicated team including former Israel Defense Minister and Chief of Staff Moshe Ya’alon, Dr. Levy has been instrumental in reviving, funding, and promoting Special Olympics Israel.
Recently, Dr. Levy was appointed the chairman of the Herzl Museum in Jerusalem. In this role, he continues to honor the legacy of Theodor Herzl, advocating for a secular, progressive Jewish state. Dr. Levy’s vision for the museum includes creating a space for exchanging ideas and extending Herzl’s vision into the 21st century (The Jerusalem Post).
Dr. Levy and his wife split their time between Herzliya, Israel, and Marbella, Spain. Their family includes three children, two of whom reside in Israel and one who practices medicine in London. Despite his busy professional and philanthropic schedule, Dr. Levy remains a passionate advocate for education and secularism, reflecting his lifelong commitment to these principles (The Jerusalem Post) (Tel Aviv University). Genesis Business Humanity is honored to have Dr. Nissim Levy among its members, and we look forward to witnessing his continued contributions to society and the Genesis community.
Trying times and immense hardship face Israeli society, but equal to our troubles, it is profoundly heartening to witness the global outpouring of support and compassion. As the co-founder and CEO of Genesis Business Humanity and the co-founder and Managing Partner of the Genesis Friends for Life Foundation, I am deeply moved by the resilience and unity displayed during such tumultuous times. Today, I am excited to announce the establishment of a vital initiative, Genesis Friends for Life Israel, aimed at providing essential aid and support to those most affected by the ongoing conflict.
Genesis Friends for Life Foundation, a 501c3 organization founded in the U.S. in 2023, operates under the umbrella of the Genesis Business Humanity family of companies. Our core mission is to extend a compassionate hand to Israeli orphans who tragically lost their parents on October 7th, as well as to provide crucial assistance to widows, children, and families grappling with the harsh realities of war. With the launch of Genesis Friends for Life Israel, our commitment to localized, targeted support has grown exponentially, and we are adamant about realizing the full potential of this project.
In collaboration with the Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation, Genesis Friends for Life Israel will deliver relief services and care directly to the doorsteps of children and families impacted by the conflict. Our aim is not only to alleviate immediate suffering but also to foster long-term resilience and empowerment. Through initiatives like the Genesis Family of Orphans program, we will provide career opportunities within Israel’s thriving tech sector, ensuring these children have the tools and support to thrive despite adversity.
Named in remembrance of my dear brother Doron Aviman is our flagship initiative, the Doron Grant for Life program. Specifically designed to empower orphans, the program enables them to realize their full potential irrespective of their circumstances. We refuse to let orphanhood hinder their personal, educational, and professional growth and will provide the necessary support to cultivate their futures.
The grim reality is that the ongoing attacks have left a profound scar on Israeli society, with children bearing the brunt of the devastation. Before the conflict erupted, there were already 10,000 Israeli orphans, with approximately 120 adoptions occurring annually. Shockingly, since the onset of hostilities, this number has surged, with around 700 new Israeli orphans emerging. Genesis Friends for Life Israel is steadfast in its commitment to providing these children and families with the necessary resources and support to heal and rebuild their lives.
The establishment of Genesis Friends for Life Israel is a testament to our board members’ unwavering dedication, including luminaries like Ranny Yarom, co-founder and CEO of Genesis Business Humanity. Together with our esteemed colleagues, we are resolute in our determination to ease the burden borne by Israeli children and ensure they have the opportunities and support needed for a bright and prosperous future.
The launch of Genesis Friends for Life Israel represents an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the plight of orphaned children and families in Israel. It is a call to action for individuals and organizations worldwide to stand in solidarity and support these young lives, becoming their steadfast allies for life. With the unwavering support of partners like the Genesis BH Club, Genesis Friends for Life Israel is poised to effect meaningful, sustainable change in the lives of orphans and their families.
As we navigate these challenging times alongside Israel, let us heed the words of Dr. Lior Aviman, co-founder and CEO of Genesis Friends for Life Israel. Let us draw strength from our faith, unity, and humanity as we work tirelessly to alleviate suffering and provide vital resources to those in need. Together, through Genesis Friends for Life Israel, we have the opportunity to raise awareness, extend compassion, and pave the way for a future filled with promise and hope.
As the co-founder and managing partner of Genesis Business Humanity and Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation, I am deeply impassioned to share our latest initiative: the establishment of Genesis Friends for Life Israel. In the face of ongoing turmoil in Israel, this endeavor represents a beacon of hope and resilience amidst adversity.
Genesis Business Humanity and its subsidiary, Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation, have long been committed to fostering compassion and support for those in need. Our journey has been defined by unwavering dedication to humanitarian causes, and the creation of Genesis Friends for Life Israel marks another pivotal moment in our mission to make a tangible difference in the lives of others.
In collaboration with our esteemed partners and allies, Genesis Friends for Life Israel aims to provide targeted assistance to Israeli orphans, widows, children, and families profoundly impacted by the ongoing conflict. Our mission is rooted in the belief that every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive, irrespective of their challenges.
Operating with our global foundation, Genesis Friends for Life Israel, enables us to leverage our resources and expertise to deliver comprehensive relief services and care to those most in need. We are committed to addressing immediate needs and empowering individuals to build brighter futures for themselves and their communities through initiatives such as the Genesis Family of Orphans program and the Doron Grant for Life program.
The stark reality of the situation cannot be ignored. The relentless attacks on Israel have exacted a heavy toll, particularly on its most vulnerable citizens—the children. Before the conflict, there were already thousands of Israeli orphans, and tragically, this number has only continued to rise. Genesis Friends for Life Israel is dedicated to providing these children and families with the support they need to heal, grow, and thrive in the face of adversity.
Our efforts would not be possible without the dedication and collaboration of our board members, partners, and supporters. We are united in our commitment to alleviating the suffering of those affected by conflict and ensuring that they have access to the resources and support they need to rebuild their lives.
The launch of Genesis Friends for Life Israel is an initiative and a testament to the power of compassion, unity, and collective action. It is an opportunity for individuals and organizations worldwide to stand in solidarity with the people of Israel and support those who need it most.
Together, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of orphaned children and families, providing them with the hope, healing, and opportunity they deserve. With your support, Genesis Friends for Life Israel will continue to be a source of hope and healing for those in need.
The new organization will work together with the Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation to provide support and relief to Israeli orphans who lost parents on October 7
April 18th, 2024; Miami; TelAviv: The Genesis Friends for Life Foundation, a 501c3 introduced in 2023 in the U.S., and part of the Genesis Business Humanity family of companies today announced the launch of Genesis Friends for Life Israel, a non-governmental organization (NGO) focused on aiding and supporting orphans, widows, children, and families most affected by the October 7th, and the ongoing war.
Genesis Friends for Life Israel will be providing relief services and care to children and families affected by the current conflict through numerous projects that seek to boost their immediate well-being, and continuously support them through adulthood. The Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation will be working in conjunction as both organizations seek to assist orphans, and swiftly begin to ramp up current programs on the ground.
“Our hearts go out to those who have lost loved ones and who are suffering, as we are guided by our faith, unity, and humanity to alleviate suffering and provide immediate resources through this crisis through the establishment of the Genesis Friends for Life Israel Foundation,” said Dr. Lior Aviman, co-founder and CEO. “With this foundation, we have the chance to raise awareness around how the war has impacted orphaned children and families in Israel, and to ensure they have access to resources delivered by caring volunteers on the ground, so they can set out on a path for a successful life of joy and promise.”
The Doron Grant for Life provides orphans with a path where orphanhood does not constitute an obstacle in any way, to the realization of their full personal, educational, and occupational potential.
“Our belief includes, first and foremost, assistance to the weak, whether it be financial, emotional and academic support, and assistance for every child who needs it,” said Liron Herskovitz, founder and CEO of Republic Consulting, a top firm in Israel which has conducted a comprehensive study of the status of orphans following the attacks, and a contributor to the development of the platform. “With this program, we seek to allow these children social leadership and an exit from the circles of difficulty and distress, while imparting an education with a clear occupational horizon, a connection to the world of employment through an extensive social network and connections and key people to whom we are connected through friendship or work within Genesis.”
The initial and ongoing attacks upon Israel have greatly affected all its citizens and families, but children who now have no one to turn to are being impacted the most. Prior to the conflict, there were already 10,000 Israeli orphans, with an average of 120 adoptions a year. However, since the war has started, there are approximately 700 new Israeli orphans, with over 1,400 people in total have been killed during the massacre, and close to another 9,000 being seriously injured in some form, leading to a substantial increase that has overwhelmed the Israeli Ministry of Welfare.
The new Genesis Friends for Life Israel includes an expansive list of distinguished board members who are determined to alleviate the toll combat has taken on Israeli children. This includes Ranny Yarom, the co-founder and CEO of Genesis Business Humanity based in Israel who sports over 20 years of IDFA experience, Amiel Aviman, co-Founder and Managing Partner at Genesis Business Humanity with over 30 years entrepreneurial experience, and Eli Dalfin, the COO of Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation.
“We must always stand up for Israel,” said Ranny Yarom, who is also co-founder and Managing Director of Genesis Group, and the leader of all activities on the business and humanitarian fronts in Israel. “As a father, I feel deeply honored to be able to be able to organize and army of highly respected business visionaries, government leaders, academics, and volunteers with boots on the ground here. Each of these orphan’s lives is precious and their potential unlimited when they have our support. They will be the future changemakers in Israel and globally, and from their trauma will come greatness and grace.”
“We must do all we can to support these young lives, and to become their families for life,” said Amiel Aviman, co-founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Genesis Group, and Genesis Friends for Life Global Foundation. “With the support of the Members of the Genesis Business Humanity Club, and with others who have joined us in building Friends for Life in the U.S. and Israel, we are able to make a lasting difference as we are committing in full force to ensuring these orphans have all they need to live safe, happy, and productive lives.”
“For nearly twenty years, our group of friends and network of business colleagues have been supporting orphans in Israel through Simcha Connection, ensuring those young people have access to education, religious education, bar mitzvahs and bat mitzvahs and more,” said Eli Dalfin, who also founded the partner organization in Miami and has grown it for two decades. “The horrific terrorism that occurred on October 7th sends a strong signal to the world that Israel and Israeli’s are living with an existential threat, and that we all must do what we can to ensure the children and families impacted by violence have what the need to heal and move forward in love and strength. We invite all of those who share our compassion and passion for this mission to donate so we can fulfill on our promise as Friends for Life to ensure good lives for every orphan we embrace.”
“Together, with the support of our friends in America and around the world, the Genesis Friends for Life Israel team, will make a significant, sustainable, and powerful difference in the lives of orphans,” said Arie Munk of Bayit Cham, another NGO in Israel which is partnering with Friends for Life. “Bayit Cham is honored to work with Friends for Life to provide the best mental health support. In Israel and throughout the world, many go through difficult periods in their lives or various experiences that lead to mental health issues. The battle that is hard to cope with as it is becomes impossible when the person is struggling on his or her own. As pioneers in the field of mental health rehabilitation in Israel, we operate an especially broad array of services that includes therapeutic and rehabilitation services, guidance and support, vocational training, and employment for those struggling with mental health challenges and for their families, including the Israeli Orphans who will now have access to The Doron Grant for Life program and more. It is an honor to be part of this major initiative.”

February 28, 2023; Miami Beach, Florida; Tel Aviv Israel – Genesis Friends for Life Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit registered in the U.S. and part of the Genesis Business Humanity family of companies, today announced two major Israeli television and film actors are the first celebrities to join its new Global Ambassador Program.
Yaakov Zada-Daniel, from the hit, show Fauda, himself an orphan who has established an orphanage in Israel, earlier this year attended an event in Miami produced by the Foundation to raise funds for immediate support of orphans, widows, children, and families most affected by the October 7 terrorist attacks.
Yaakov, who was orphaned at the age of three, grew up in the desert village of Neradim, a children’s-home and kibbutz for vulnerable kids from across Israel. He spent 15 years living with his new brothers and sisters. Today, he continues to support an orphanage, which was recently granted $10,000 by the Foundation, and has been named the first celebrity Ambassador and the face and voice of “Friends for Life.”
Additionally, Omer Hazan, known for his acting roles in Al Techaki, The Engineer, and Asfur, who attended the event on October 25th in Miami and is also on the Foundation’s Board of Advisors, is helping raise awareness and promote the Foundation’s mission.
The Genesis family is truly that – a family that brings together extremely successful entrepreneurs to support the tech industry in combination with a non-profit foundation raising funds for programs that will make such a positive, long-term difference in so many orphans’ lives. Children are the future of Israel, and this includes those children who lost parents and other family members on October 7 and in the resulting war over the last few months. What distinguishes Genesis Friends for Life Foundation is their solid strategic approach, their commitment to “for life,” and their presence in both the U.S. and Israel where partnerships have already formed and support is flowing.”
“We are honored and grateful for the continuing and intense support Yaakov and Omer bring to our Advisory Board as special members, and look forward to attracting additional celebrities to this important mission, supporting orphans, widows, children, and families in Israel in the wake of the horrific massacre,” said Amiel Aviman, Co-founder and Managing Partner of Genesis Business Humanity and Co-founder and Co-Chair of Genesis Friends for Life Foundation based in Miami.
